Most of us have dreams, goals and desires that require us to stretch ourselves beyond our comfort zone and create a new experience with a new reality.
Unfortunately though, it can be extremely difficult to navigate new spaces, take on new opportunities and accept new seasons when we’re still operating with an old mindset and belief system.
Many people suffer from imposter syndrome, unknowingly and it can show up in several different ways. We doubt our gifts, skills and talents are actually ‘good enough.’ We question whether we’re really ready. We wonder what will happen if we fail and for a lot of folks that translates into self-sabotage.
In a past episode of Girl Stop Playin, I spoke with Precious A., a Licensed Therapist about her experience with Imposter Syndrome, how she helps clients move past their self-inflicted pain and pursue their God given talents.
